Mrs. Sarah Pilukaitis
Mrs. Pilukaitis is excited to be an Allen Eagle after moving from Austin where she directed the award-winning Anderson High School Trojan Belles dance team. She actually started her career nearby as the JV director at South Garland High School. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance degree with secondary teacher certification at Texas Woman’s University having studied teaching, choreography, and dance including modern, contemporary, improvisation, ballet, and jazz, and tap.
Her passion for dance started early in life and led her from being a high school drill team officer to ultimately becoming a lieutenant in the world famous Kilgore College Rangerettes and leader of the Swingsters dance group. She performed in an assortment of arenas include the Crystal Charity Ball in Dallas, Dallas Cowboys Football game, parades in Chicago and New York, and the annual Rangerette Revels spring show. Mrs. Pilukaitis had the privilege to serve on the Association Dance Educators Assessment of Learning panel, to be a member of Out on a Limb modern dance company, and to perform with Defiance dance company for one year. She also taught and choreographed for American dance Drill team School, and currently teaches for Encore Creative Productions.

Ms. Whitney Wilson (Mama Willy)
Whitney Wilson began her dance training at the age of 3 in ballet and tap. She later trained in jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, modern and contemporary. She was a member of the Quintessence Ballet Company in Lewisville before discovering drill team at the start of her high school career. Ms. Wilson was a 4 year member of the Marcus High School Marquettes where she served as Sophomore & Junior Lieutenant positions and Captain her Senior year. She was named Rookie of the Year, All American Dance/Drill Team 4 years, toured Europe with American Dance/Drill Team, Miss High Kick and Marquette of the Year.
Ms. Wilson studied dance at Texas Women’s University, but fell in love with the University of North Texas where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Program Management and a minor in Health Promotions. She later pursued her teaching certificate in Dance & Physical Education.
Ms. Wilson’s past teaching experience includes teaching at the City of Corinth Parks & Rec Dance classes, Dance Industry, Extreme Dance, Next Step Dance, MA Dance Summer Camps across the United States & adjudicating regional and national dance competitions for 12 years, Allen HS Color Guard, and founded the Lowery Dance Company Stars. She also danced for the Lyric City Dance Company, starred as Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense at Grapevine’s Runway Theatre and was a member of DefiANCE Dance Company.
Ms. Wilson has been teaching dance in Allen since August of 2005 and has been the Tallenette Assistant Director since 2009. She also teaches summer workshops at Pure Movement Dance & Fitness and spends every New Years since 2000 in Orlando working the ESP Citrus Bowl Halftime Show with All American Dancers & Cheerleaders from all over the USA.
Her passion for dance and drive to “push” dancers to the next level only excites her year after year. Ms. Wilson feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of young ladies and Mrs. Tek, a wonderful mentor and friend.
